Renaissance celebrates its 21st year with a magnificent range of hand-finished simulated stone and marble surrounds, manufactured from a formulation of resin, silca rock and fibreglass. This lightweight material is one of the strongest materials used in the manufacture of fireplaces, yet a fraction of the weight of natural stone, precast stone and other subsitutes with the additional benefit of having a washable surface. The hand-finished textured stone finishes have a two-tone finish to give an authentic stone appearance. The marbled finishes are painstakingly hand-painted, everyone unique, varying in vein pattern just like natural marble. All surrounds are suitable for gas or electric fires and are supplied in 3-pieces for ease of transportation.
